world war 2

I have traveled back in time to world war two. There were many things that they did that was wrong.After the attack on the U.S naval base at pearl harbor people started to be mean to the japanese people in America because they were japanese and the japanese had just attacked the pearl harbor so many shops put out signs for the japanese to stay away,there were alot of incidents were americans would destroy japanese americans property,also people would do things to the japanese americans like when they went to get their mail they would have to go in and ask for it instead of getting it from their mailbox this way the post man and others could ask them questions. On Febuary 19,1942 president Frankin D. Roosevelt issued an executive order stating thaty all japanese alien and non-alien were to be evacuated from the west coast and that they had one week to pack all the stuff they could carry and get rid of everything else, and that is exactly what they did, they sold or buried the stuff that they were un able to carry with them then one week later they were evacuated to horse stalls.They had them in the horse stalls for about six months the living conditions in the stalls were terrible, there was dirt and sand on the floor, there was alot of people assigned to each stall and it was very small and cramped,and they had to sleep and sacks full of hay.
After about six months there was a rumor going around that they were going to be moved inland to another camp and that is exactly what happened, they were moved into the desert into another camp that was a little bigger and roomier it was cleaner and it had a stove in their huts for them to use, it was a lot more easier for them to live in there were more bathrooms for people and it was better conditions then the horse stall.

Living life in the great depresion was very hard, there were lots of struggles for the people.For example people were segregrated like the blacks had their places and the whites had their places.It was very unfair for people to be seperated due to the color of their skin, it made some people feel different and left out. One of the places that segregated blacks from whites was the movie theater it would have signs on the outside saying the colored theater, also the bus station had waiting rooms for white people and waiting rooms for black people.This is different from today because today we do not segregate people by the color of their skin.

life in the 1800's

The life that was back then in the 1800's was terrible to all the immigrants that they lied to and espessially to children.They forced children to stop going to school and to start working in the factories,this was bad because they had little children running very heavy and dangerous machines.If a kid got hurt they wouldnt even care the ywould send them to the hospital if they needed it but if they were unable to come back and work at the factory they didnt care because it was just one less person to pay.There were many cases where children were injured severly by working in the factories and there was really nothing anyne could do about it,the families of the children needed them to work there,just so it helped them get by in life.

Back in the 1800's the life style had alot of differences then it does now, the ways that people were treated especially the immigrants that worked in the factory was terrible. There were many reasons that all the immigrants wanted to come here, for example the factories would post bill boards saying that if you come here and work in a factory you will be richer then ever. Also they had made bill boards that ad people that were happy and saying that they found gold and got rich from coming here. So immigrants came here and they all started to work in the factories here which was nothing like it seemed, they were all cramed together in the factories then they had to go home and be even more cramed into thee little houses,they had forced kids to skip goinh to school and go work in the factories, there was no gold for them to find and they were very little and the had to use some of their money to pay for the materials that they used and also to help pay for the electricity.

Back in the 1800's life was way different then it is now and i know this because i went back in the 1800's and loooked at the life style and i found many similarities and differences between then and now.For example they had different types of people coming from different countries so they used this to their advantage and they would pay the different groups different amounts of pay,which was very unfair because then one group was getting payed more then other groups and all that did was start contreversies.They would seperate the different groups so that they had a tension between then due to the pay rates and this way not all of the workers could come together as one group and go against the factory.
